This cygnet was being attacked by the cob (male swan) for reasons we will never know. Mike plucked him out of the water – he was wet through and very cold. Marilyn put the cygnet down her jumper to keep him next to her body in an attempt to warm him up. He started squeaking and looking for food. We cared for him for two days and then took him to the Swan Sanctuary in Dorset where he was able to join other cygnets. |
